Information
is key. As a funder, the more information you have, the more opportunities
you have to invest in the community, and to invest well. Resources
are available through the San Diego Grantmakers library that can
both teach you the latest in grantmaking practices, and supplement
what you already know and do. We maintain a library with information
on virtually every area of grantmaking to help you do your work
well. Our staff can assist you in finding sample guidelines, applications,
proposal review forms, and examples of other grantmaking procedures.
Our collection includes books, reports, articles, case studies,
videos, and cassette tapes.
Members
are welcome to borrow materials by mail, or make an appointment
to visit our office and browse through the library. All of our publications,
videos, and tapes are complimentary, available for two-week use
to our members (we even make it easy for you, we'll give you the
envelope in which to ship it back to us).
Our
library is always growing, so be sure to read our newsletter to
stay informed of new additions.
