Selecting the right candidate to help build upon SDG’s 42 years of impact in the philanthropic sector will take time. Nancy Jamison will continue as CEO until the end of January, and depending on when the new CEO is able to begin, the board will work with Nancy and the staff to make the appropriate arrangements to ensure a smooth transition to the next chapter of leadership at SDG.

Many members have asked about ways to honor Nancy’s passionate leadership of SDG and the region we serve. The Board - as future stewards of the organization - have asked that any donations made to recognize her 13 years of friendship, leadership and ongoing commitment to social change, be made to support the future of this organization through SDG’s new Equity and Innovation Fund.

If we are to continue the legacy of equity, innovation and growth set forth by Nancy in partnership with the SDG team and board over the past decade, and continue to powerfully connect and activate funders to learn, lead and invest in our community, we need your help in ensuring that we can effectively navigate the transition period through your support, commitment and generosity.
