Philanthropy California is excited to announce the inaugural 2020 Philanthropy California Policy Summit!

This year, San Diego Grantmakers is partnering with our sister organizations, Northern California Grantmakers, and Southern California Grantmakers to offer a statewide convening for philanthropic and civic leaders passionate about building a more equitable future for all of California.

Grantmaking alone isn’t enough address the systems and structures that stand in the way of realizing a just and inclusive California. Philanthropy has the opportunity to amplify community-led initiatives, play an active role in civic engagement, and leverage government collaborations. Together, we can ensure that every Californian has access to equitable opportunities.

Presented in partnership with the California Budget & Policy Center, the 2020 Philanthropy California Policy Summit will immerse leaders in a day-long in-depth look at the latest policies and issues impacting the state. The gathering will be filled with candid and timely conversations about philanthropy’s role in changing systems and strengthening communities. Participants will learn of growing opportunities for alignment in public-private collaboration to translate bold visions into powerful impact.

Don’t miss your chance to participate in what promises to be an energetic and solutions-focused summit of philanthropic and civic leaders. Join over 300 of your statewide colleagues to learn from each other and build alliances to envision a better future for California.
