San Diego Grantmakers is pleased to share this community event hosted by CONNECT and Benefunder. Please click the register button or contact [email protected] for more information.

Based on the interest in the community on how to get San Diego’s nonprofit sector more engaged in our innovation economy, this event was put together to bring in two of the most innovative groups and thought leaders in this space. Sarah Kearney, Executive Director at Prime Coalition and Scott Nance from Impact Assets will share best practices, case studies, and how to get started in impact investing for foundations.

There's a tremendous opportunity in our local ecosystem to unlock opportunities to match philanthropic capital with a new asset class, one that is a core driver of our economy and could potentially solve some of our most pressing societal problems.

Please join to take part in a very interactive discussion and lay the groundwork for what could become a movement and an example to be replicated on a national scale.

This event is designed for community and private foundations, as well as individual philanthropists, and the groups that serve them. A light breakfast and coffee will be served.
