By late 2015, San Diego County had taken in more refugees than any other region of California for seven years straight. Together with The California Endowment, Leichtag Foundation, and Partnership for the Advancement of New Americans (PANA), we'll explore additional statistics and deepen our understanding of the challenges and experiences of our new neighbors as they adapt to calling San Diego home.

Join Us To

  • Be among the first to hear findings from the PANA’s 2016 San Diego County Refugee Report
  • Engage in a small group workshop to explore how refugee interests overlap with housing, employment, education, and mental health issues in our region
  • Learn about strategies and opportunities for directing philanthropic support to this population

  • Kathi Anderson, Executive Director, Survivors of Torture, International
  • Niki Mazaroli, Senior Manager, Self Sufficiency & Special Projects, Leichtag Foundation
  • David Murphy, Executive Director, International Rescue Committee of San Diego
  • Ramla Sahid, Director, Partnership for the Advancement of New Americans
