Hope and Heal Fund is proud to bring you this webinar to discuss the key findings of the two recently released reports, Gun Violence and LGBT Adults and Lethal Hispanic/Latino Firearm Victimization in California.

The Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law released their final report on Tuesday, April 30: Gun Violence and LGBT Adults, which examines gun violence against LGBTQ people, including suicides, homicides, and other forms of gun violence. The research concludes that gun violence is a significant concern for this population and uncovers key findings about how gun violence affects this community. Most importantly, the report provides a roadmap for funders and researchers for actionable data to develop effective strategies to prevent gun violence.

The Violence Policy Center’s (VPC) report: Lethal Hispanic/Latino Firearm Victimization in California, is a comprehensive report which offers the most recent data available on Latino homicide and suicide victimization in California, and the role played by firearms. California has the largest Latino population in the country, so this information is incredibly important as we continue to work towards preventing gun violence in our communities.

In preparation for the webinar, it is encouraged you to read the key findings from Lethal Hispanic/Latino Firearm Victimization in California and the final report Gun Violence and LGBT Adults.
