Allison Long Pettine, founder of Ad Astra Ventures

Allison is an investor and entrepreneur passionate about supporting leaders who strive to positively impact society. In 2018, she co-founded Ad Astra Ventures, a fund that invests in and educates founders of high growth startups with at least one female co-founder. Allison is also a founder of Seed San Diego, a small group of investors who are determined to change the landscape for investing in San Diego, and the founding partner of Crescent Ridge Partners, a seed stage venture fund that provides early stage capital to entrepreneurs building scalable, capital efficient businesses.

Beth is a published author and an accomplished public speaker, having addressed several social venture organizations. She received the 2015 James Irvine Foundation California Leadership Award, recognizing Californians who are advancing innovative, proven and replicable solutions to critical issues facing the state. Beth was also named to Forbes’ list of 30 Top Social Entrepreneurs in 2012 and to the San Francisco Business Times’ list of Most Influential Women in Business in 2013.
