Compensation: $18-$20/hr

The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) is looking for students interested in a paid internship in the Grants Division. They are looking for candidates who may be interested in a long-time career in Grants.

Job Description & Responsibilities

Filing, data entry, research, preliminary reviews of grantee invoices, updates to Grants SharePoint site, emails of grant deadline reminders; notetaking at meetings, maintenance of library of grant application materials and other records; create and maintain tickler system for monitoring of grantees due for risk-based monitoring visits and reviews based on objective criteria, support for Grants unit work on both applying for grant funds and distribution of grant funds. This role would provide an opportunity to work on the various grant programs’ criteria in order to better align them with the Strategic Initiatives, Priority Projects, and a Grants Strategic Plan.

Hours and Location

24-29 hours per week; two days per week in downtown offices if permissible under the public health orders, the rest potentially remote
