San Diego Grantmakers' first quarterly corporate philanthropy session focused on strategies for engaging various and diverse employees in volunteer programs. Participants heard from experts in corporate social responsibility (CSR), offering theoretical and practical perspectives on how effective volunteer programs can help employees see their work contributing to the success of the company as well as the broader community.

Featured Speakers:

Chris Jarvis is co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Realized Worth, a global CSR consultancy specializing in employee volunteer training, volunteer program design, and employee engagement. Chris and his team provide expert strategic advice, planning, and effective measurement frameworks. They are the first company in the CSR field to offer a customizable training technology solution focused on Transformative Volunteering.

 

Xiomara Arroyo, Vice President of Corporate Philanthropy & Community Relations at Wells Fargo. Xiomara is charged with executing a community investment strategy to promote and enhance the San Diego community through philanthropy, advocacy, and maintaining the company’s Community Reinvestment Act initiatives. Her efforts are focused on stakeholder engagement as well as corporate social responsibilities, strategies, and programs.
