Resources for California Fires Briefing with Local Responders and Funders

Publication date:
November, 2018

On Tuesday, November 13, Philanthropy California held an urgent webinar to offer funders an up-to-the-minute briefing on local and state agency responses to the fires in Butte, Ventura, and Los Angeles Counties. Our speakers provided an overview of the current situation on the ground and how it could develop in the coming weeks; perspectives on immediate and anticipated community needs that are being addressed by local community foundations (with a focus on the people who have the least access to resources); and information on how funders accross the national can help most effectively.

On this page, you will find links to resources and our downloadable meeting notes. We've also recorded the meeting to make it accessible to whoever will find it useful as they continue to aid in this recovery process.
